    She was a Jew, she was hiding from the Germans, she was killed by the Germans in a concentration camp and she kept a diary.

    I did not now ann franks full name was Annelies Marie Frank.

    I also did not now that anne frank and her family hid behind a book case covering the stairs while they were upstairs in hiding.

    i definatly did not now that After the arrest, the people in hiding and the helpers are brought to the German Security Police’s jail on Euterpestraat in Amsterdam.

    There wasn’t just a diary which was found of Annes there were also some loose sheets and note books with Annes notes and corrections.

    Beacause they were found in hiding all the peoplefrom the secret annexe had to spend all day breaking up batteries.

    Everyone from the secret annexe was chosen for work.

    Anne and her sister Margot died only a few days before the camp was liberated.

    She was a good writer.

    The people in hiding and the two male helpers are arrested and taken for interrogation to a jail run by the Germans.

    They rescue Anne Frank’s diary papers.

    All Anne Frank could do for entertainment was to talk, and write in her diary.

    The hiding place at 263 Prinsengracht is relatively spacious. There is enough room for two families.

    A manuscript of Anne’s diary, typed by Otto Frank’s hand, finds its way via a number of different contacts to the Dutch historian Jan Romein and his wife Annie Romein-Verschoor, who is also an historian.

    They stayed behind a bookcase for years and years without getting caught.

    Otto Frank was the only one in her family to survive.
