Can you write a recommendation paragraph for the reading book that you have just finished?
Remember-to do this you….
- Say what is good/ not so good about the book
- Write about the genre (what kind of book it is eg humourous, adventure, mystery etc)
- Identify the target audience -who would enjoy reading it?
- write in the present tense
- Remember to check your spelling as anyone can read your work on a blog
HINT-You can look in the Book Review section of the main blog for examples or in the Writing a Book Review section of this blog and here is one that Kirsty wrote about her novel.
‘This adventure story would mainly appeal to boys and girls aged about 9-13 because younger children might find the death and disease distressing. But although the book is sad the author still manages to squeeze in some hilarious phrases.’

The was a mystery story.the good bit of the book is when alice owns up about taking the money. even though she had done wrong.the bad bit was that when sam and lisa though that benny had takin it.the book would be good for children who like to solve mysterys.
